Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting for a trainee metal worker for our client based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:15–16:00 and Friday 7:15–13:15.

Candidate Duties:

Debur / Fettle rough edges off metal
Learn to use hand tools and precision machinery.
Learn to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to required dimensions.
Learn to operate equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, rollers, plasma cutters and CNC machines.
Learn to weld, rivet, solder and fasten sheet metal parts using appropriate techniques.

Candidate Requirements:

Keen to learn new skills in sheet metal fabrication, assembly and installation.
Good timekeeping & attendance.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Hard-working and able to meet deadlines.
Physically fit and capable of lifting.
Happy to follow all health and safety regulations.

We are looking to recruit hard-working Light Industrial Packers to work for our well-known client based in Stone, Staffordshire.

Our client has been in the industry for decades and are now looking to add workers to their current force.

Pay is £12.76 per hour days/noon shift & £14.76 per hour for the night shift.

The day shift is 3 days per week 8.00am to 8.30pm (12.5 hours paid per day, total 37.5 hours per week).

The night shift is 4 days per week 8.30pm to 6.30am (10 hours paid per day, total 40 hours per week).

Day shifts are working Sunday, Monday & Tuesday OR Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Night shifts work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

This role involves:

Packing orders
General warehouse duties
Fast-paced working enviroment
Candidate Requirements:
Good work ethic
Relevant work experience
Ability to work to your own initiative
Positive attitude
