Hi,

🤩We are currently recruiting for Laptops/TVs Repair Technicians to join a great team at Currys Warehouse located in Newark, NG24 2NH.

You will be working at one of the leading repair centres in Europe while repairing high end customer products for the largest high street retailer in the country and one of the biggest brands in the world.

There are 4 on 4 off, 12 hours shifts available on Days

Pay rate starts from £13.58/hr

Role of a Repair Technician:
• Be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic target driven environment.
• To adhere to targets and a predetermined quality standard to all repairs.
• Responding to individual customer’s needs and requirements.
• Keep up to date with regular training and standards.
• Ascertain the warranty status of a product to eliminate damaged products.
• Understand repair timeframes and cut off for each different model.
• Repair to manufacturer guidelines.
• Be adaptable and able to work on a range of products.
• Ensure positive and proactive communication with the customer to meet their needs.

Required Skills & Experience: What knowledge, skills and ability are needed for this role?

• The ability to work well on an individual level as well as part of a team.
• Meeting set KPI’s to ensure the best standards and productivity.
• To deliver a world class customer service through customer repairs
• Minimise Turn-Around Time, PPJ and Repeats, to ensure a fast and reliable service to customers.
• Working within a team to improve Dixons Carphone NPS.
• Maximise repair efficiency to control repair costs.

Qualifications needed: What technical/professional qualifications are needed for this role?

• Excellent awareness of Health and Safety, 5S and Electrical Safety
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent / higher qualification
• To show an interest in self-study and different brands
• Great communication Skills to be able to communicate with the team and customers.
• History of repair and competence
• iOS knowledge

- Electronics Repair Technicians - from £12.56/hr
- Customer Service Admins - from £10.80/hr
- Warehouse Operatives - from £10.50/hr
Overtime paid at x1.5 rate.

Carrying out activities that train, develop and enable the team to perform well
Identifying and improving processes
Ensuring there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the workplace.
Responding to changing priorities and work streams with agility.
Various warehouse roles involve:
- Picking or packing
- moving pallets from one location to another using pump trucks
- remove products from packaging, for quality checks and repack products
- heavy lifting is involved so you will need to be physically fit for some roles
- processing returned stock
- palletizing and preparing stock for despatch
- Product support operatives for Stock Repair Centre checking products functionality, packing and unpacking and prepare products for repairs
Various shift patterns available:
- 4 on 4 off, 12 hours shifts on Days
- Monday - Friday shifts on Days
- Weekly Pay
- Immediate Starts
- Temp to Perm Opportunities

Pay rates start from £10.38 per hour and go up to £15.87 per hour depending on job role and shift for Warehouse Operative roles.
