As we get ready to seal our 150th Anniversary Time Capsule, we thought we’d share a few little glimpses of some of the letters that will be tucked away inside. ✉️

There’s something quite strange about writing a letter knowing that you won’t be there when it’s eventually read. Who knows what YMCA Neath, Neath itself – or even the world – will look like by then?

For now, these letters will capture a tiny piece of who we are in 2026 – the people, the memories, the laughter and the community that make our YMCA what it is. 💜

A huge congratulations to Macsen and his sister Leah, who both competed at the Welsh National Judo Closed Championships in Cardiff this weekend.

Both came away with Gold medals in their respective adaptive categories! 🏆👏

An extra special achievement for 15-year-old Macsen, who stepped up to compete as a senior – what an accomplishment!

We love seeing Neath Valley Martial Arts members challenging themselves and achieving brilliant things. ❤️
