Running a business without stated goals and objectives is much like shooting in the dark. Also without well-defined goals, it is very difficult to improve teamwork and collaboration - a poor form of employee management practice. You should be able to make your employees understand the direction your business must be heading for. As a business owner/manager you need to ask yourself a few questions...

- what is the mission of my Organization?
- what is the strategy in place to accomplish the mission?
- And what are the overall goals for my team, and for each member of the team?

Employee management is key to any successful organisation and this topic and trust is always put onto HR, management and CEO’s within the business but how can you do this alongside all your other day to day duties 🤔. Keeping your employees happy within the work place has many benefits which include, better productivity in the workplace, employee absence decreases and customer service levels improve, so why are so many businesses poor at such a critical task within the business, the answer is pretty simple, it’s ‘TIME’. Had such an amazing afternoon visiting a local primary school in Winsford and teaching them all about the recruitment industry and my role. We spoke about the transferable skills they could work hard at now to enable them to go into any profession they want.
