Today, we'd like to share some important tips to ensure our safety, health, and overall happiness - in the workplace, at sea and beyond.

As active advocates for mental health and well-being, we've been talking with ISWAN (International Seafarers' Welfare & Assistance Network) regarding their new personal safety guidance.

While their advice primarily caters to the yachting and maritime industry, it's crucial to note that these principles are universally applicable, especially for those working solo in remote environments and private settings.

🔹 Don't start a new job alone 🔹

Prioritise your personal safety by sharing key information like the address/port/vessel name, client/owner name, captain/manager name, and your itinerary with a trusted family member or friend.

Additionally, consider using a ship tracking tool like Vessel Finder, which offers a free account allowing near-real-time vessel tracking.

Remember to maintain both digital and physical copies of a personal documents and emergency contacts folder on your phone and in print.

I am hiring you the chef, to cook onboard a 40ft catamaran that I am renting for 2 weeks from the 23rd September.

Remuneration : $6,000 pro rata - $3,000 for the 2 week trip
Possibility of further assignment on land Mallorca / Italy.

🎗Melons, white Peaches, nectarines, Blueberries ( Portugal season now) or the Alps, blackberries on the bushes, plums falling from the trees. Figs not quite ripe yet here...... its literally foodie heaven 😋 🫒🍑🌿🌻

🇫🇷 2 weeks into a 5 week lovely job in South West France at this incredible time of year for fantastic seasonal produce.....
🎗Lovely summer bbq's in pretty Fench gardens, foraged flowers, seasonal market locally grown produce, light fresh salads, marinated meats, garlic butter prawns, all the delicious fruits.
🎗I have availability in September in Portugal for dinner parties and end of summer bbq,s.
