Want to spend more time climbing bigger trees and less time doing routine work from the ground?
Branchwalkers Tree Surgery is looking for a qualified Tree Surgeon who wants to push their climbing ability, gain experience on more demanding tree work and develop towards Lead Climber/Team Leader level.
A large proportion of the current workload involves large tree works, ash dieback removals and dangerous trees. That means regular opportunities to work on bigger dismantles, challenging removals and jobs that will genuinely develop you as a climber.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
➡️Large tree removals and sectional dismantles
➡️Ash dieback and dangerous tree work
➡️Challenging climbs that develop your ability and confidence
➡️Aerial pruning, reductions and removals
➡️Working alongside experienced climbers on more technical jobs
➡️Taking on increasing responsibility as your ability develops
➡️Commercial, domestic, utility and infrastructure projects
➡️Using professional arboricultural machinery and equipment
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
➡️Qualified climber with CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39
➡️Full UK driving licence
➡️Keen to progress towards Team Leader/Lead Climber level
➡️Strong approach to health and safety
➡️Reliable, hardworking and a good team player
➡️Ambitious and keen to become a better climber
