Elekta has secured public backing that says something quiet but important about European medtech. Rather than chase a headline funding round, the Stockholm radiation-medicine company has locked in long-term financing tied to a multi-year research programme. It is the kind of capital that funds the unglamorous work of making treatment more accurate, more efficient and available to more people.
