Are you an experienced Residential Home Manager with leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding care to children?

Our Client is a leading provider of residential care services for children, committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment. We are excited to announce the opening of their new residential home in April and are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead the team and ensure the well-being and development of the children in their care.

Responsibilities:

As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residential care facility. Your duties will include:

Providing strong leadership to the care team and maintaining a positive and supportive working environment.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the children.

Implementing and monitoring care plans, assessing progress, and making adjustments as necessary.

Managing the recruitment, training, and development of staff members.

Collaborating with external agencies, professionals, and families to support the holistic development of each child.

Adhering to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Proven experience in a similar role within children residential care.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children.

Additional Information:
This position is for a new residential home in Bedfordshire, scheduled to open in April. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to address any urgent matters outside regular working hours, including on-call duties and some weekend work.

Our client, an award-winning family-run business with a network of 20 Care Homes across the UK, is seeking dedicated and ambitious Registered General Nurses to join their team in Plymouth.

Job Purpose:

As a Registered General Nurse , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the residents through comprehensive and compassionate healthcare. Your responsibilities will include:

-Assessing all aspects of clients' care needs and providing health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
-Evaluating social and health care needs of new clients and conducting ongoing assessments and reviews for existing clients.
-Ensuring completion and maintenance of care plans in collaboration with Clients, Relatives, and other Health Care -Professionals, adhering to NMC guidelines and company policy.
-Administering prescribed medicines and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures and NMC guidelines.
-Practicing maximum integrity in all dealings with clients' personal and financial affairs, avoiding any abuse of the privileged relationship.
-Supervising and instructing junior and new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
-Attending mandatory training days/courses, both on and off-site, as required.
-Establishing and maintaining effective communication with clients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team, and providing administrative support when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

-NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse.
-Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a care home setting.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Clinical Lead Nurse - Community Care

Our client, a well-established community care agency in West Sussex, is dedicated to providing support to individuals with diverse social and healthcare needs within the comfort of their homes. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Lead Nurse with previous experience in complex community care to lead and manage the clinical care aspects for those we support.

Responsibilities :

-Overall responsibility to manage and direct the clinical team on all aspect of nursing care.
-Making sure all the clinical governance, protocols and procedures are in place, effectively implemented, monitored, and adjusted accordingly where necessary.
-Care planning, clinical assessments and risk assessments.
-Responsible for monitoring the state and wellbeing of each person they support, monitoring and managing any changes impacting their care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any changes.
-Review accidents and incidents and make necessary recommendations.
-Conduct investigations as directed by the Registered Manager, following an accident, incident, or complaint.
-Work with the Registered Manager to formulate strategies for service development or changes in service provision and support implementation.
-Monitor the standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff by observation and direct involvement, ensuring that people we support receive quality medical and personal care and that care plans are properly maintained
-Support clinical staff with training, clinical supervisions and clinical audits.

About you:

As an experienced Registered Nurse, who shows the most up to date knowledge of clinical practices, you will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, be keen in developing yourself and others and able to build good close relationships with people we support and their families.

You must have community care and acute care experience especially with the use of ventilators, suctioning and management of people with gastrostomy tubes.

The home is offering 24-hour nursing, residential and dementia care for older people as well as care for younger people with disabilities in their specialist unit.

Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing care and nursing teams, conducting regular supervisions and appraisals. The role encompasses 24 hours of clinical duties and 16 hours of supernumerary responsibilities.
