We made it to 25 year’s!

On the 1st April 1999, with the irony of it being Aprils fool’s day, PPM was born. It only seems like yesterday we started our journey from a basement of a house in the suburbs of Manchester, to now having nationwide coverage with 20+ staff.

In these 25 years we have had some amazing times, and some testing ones. But the one thing we as a company can be proud of, is that we battled through and are still here serving a lot of our clients who have been with us since the beginning.

I would like to thank all the staff, both past and present, for their dedication and professionalism throughout the 25 years. Also, a large thank you goes out to all our clients big and small for your business in the period.

PPM looks forward to another quarter century, but hopefully by then it will be under the watchful eye of colleagues, and I can be sipping a nice cool drink in warmer climates.

Help-Desk Administrator

My client is a provider of tailored and bespoke mechanical & electrical building services engineering projects & maintenance, providing a wide range of specialist technical solutions to a blue-chip client portfolio to include (not limited to) Commercial, Education, Public Buildings & Retail environments.

A Helpdesk Administrator is required to provide contract and general administrative support with key duties and accountabilities to include (not limited to):

-To manage and plan/schedule and dispatch reactive work orders & -PPM to the appropriate engineer(s)
-Handling incoming calls, liaison with existing and/or new clients responding to the enquiries accordingly.
-Raising purchase orders & invoicing
-Raising & Closing of all tasks via the in-house CAFM as required
-Assisting with and raising small-works quotations
-Liaising with sub-contractors & suppliers
-Assisting with financial and compliance requirements
-Provide accurate system reporting and assist with the progression of task SLA delivery and compliance
-Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be an experienced within the Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management and/or Construction sectors and/or relevant industry sector due to the nature of the position.
The successful candidate will be employed in a similar position or will have held similar positions to include, as an example Service Desk Administrator/Helpdesk/Service Desk Planner or relevant equivalent title within the industry.
Possess a strong knowledge of M&E Maintenance Service Contracts from an Administration, Help-Desk/Service Desk prospective
Excellent IT system skills i.e. Microsoft Office
CAFM experience

Additional Information

-Salary £29,000 per annum
-Monday to Friday 08.00am to 16.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
