Take ownership of a busy vehicle hire branch, managing the fleet, team and day-to-day operations.

📍 Middleton, Manchester
💰 £29,000 – £35,000 DOE + Uncapped Bonus
🚗 Company Vehicle/Allowance
💰 OTE £50,000

Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day-to-day branch operations
• Overseeing bookings, collections and vehicle returns
• Managing the fleet, servicing, repairs and vehicle availability
• Controlling costs and minimising downtime
• Delivering great customer service and driving branch performance
• Building and managing your branch support team

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Previous car or van hire experience is essential
✔️ Supervisory or management experience
✔️ Strong customer service and people-management skills
✔️ Organised, reliable and confident working independently
✔️ A practical, hands-on attitude with strong administration skills
✔️ A full UK driving licence

🕗 Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Includes occasional Saturdays and longer hours during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
• Managing outstanding invoices and chasing overdue payments via phone, email and letter
• Negotiating payment plans and resolving invoice queries
• Assessing customer creditworthiness and managing credit limits
• Maintaining accurate payment records and reconciling accounts
• Preparing reports on aged debt, outstanding balances and cash flow
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal departments
• Supporting debt recovery and legal action where required

What We’re Looking For
✔ Previous experience in a Credit Control role
✔ Knowledge of debt recovery processes
✔ Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
✔ Experience using accounting software
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
✔ Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
✔Excellent attention to detail
✔Experience within the access or construction industry and knowledge of Syrinx would be desirable.
