✨ Thomas Builds a New Future with ACL! 🛠️

After nearly 25 years as a project manager in London, Thomas saw the changing landscape of his industry and made a bold move, back to the North East, ready to start a new chapter. With a clear goal in mind, he gave himself one year to learn everything he could about the construction industry.

Thomas had already completed a Multi Skills course with another provider but knew that to progress, he needed his CSCS card. That’s when he found the Site Safety Academy course with ACL. Our 5-day programme is designed to help learners gain the skills and certification to work safely on construction sites, fully funded for eligible candidates like Thomas.

Thomas shared:
"The course gave me the knowledge and confidence to provide safety for myself and others under my management. my tutor, Dave was full of industry insight and incredibly supportive."

Since completing the course, Thomas has launched his own business and secured contracts with Michael Poole and Thirteen Group. What an incredible achievement!

On Friday, our amazing ACL staff took some well deserved time to focus on wellbeing, connection and fun! 💙

We kicked things off with a delicious breakfast at Baker Street Kitchen (highly recommend!), and then had the chance to take part in a range of activities:

🏖️ A costal escape to Saltburn
🏓 A few friendly games of paddle
🚶‍♀️A fascinating heritage walk through Middlesbrough’s rich history

It was a great way to unwind, recharge, and enjoy some quality team building time! ✨
