MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL !

Our 40th Anniversary Tribute to Husker Du takes place at the end of January (on Saturday, 25th to be precise, at NE Volume Music Bar in Stockton on Tees and features FIVE original bands who will all be playing homage to the band by covering at least one track.

Paytron Saint originate from the Amber Valley and will be headlining the event. They really are a powerhouse trio not to be missed.

They will be supported by four North East bands:

LoGOz from Ashington need no introduction as they have supported several headline bands including TV Smith's Bored Teenagers.

North Sea Fever, Operation Vanguard & Responsa featuring Dave Cook of Uproar fame complete the line - up.

Doors will be opening earlier for this event with five bands to perform.

1985 was the year Husker Du gradually moved away from the narrow conforms of American Hardcore with the release of New Day Rising, Makes No Sense At all and Flip Your Wig. They also paved the way like REM for others to follow. Unlike REM they never made it commercially but both Bob Mould & the late Grant Hart went on to have successful solo careers. Greg Norton became a chef but the formed Ultrabomb many years later.
