In light of on-going developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, RL People is working closely with its customers to determine their recruitment strategy over the coming months. Two key trends are emerging:

1. That organisations are extending or postponing their interview processes while a global solution to Coronavirus is delivered. Importantly, we have not seen any roles being cancelled, a positive sign from our business partners across 3 continents.

2. That organisations are continuing to interview and make offers to individuals by evolving their recruitment processes, particularly through the use of video conferencing.

Reassuringly, even though we’re living in turbulent times with unique challenges afoot, organisations are being pragmatic in their approach to growth and are adapting accordingly.

Opportunities sitting with our customers falling into trend 2 are listed below. If something catches your eye, get in touch. If you’re not suitable for what is listed but you are looking for a new challenge, get in touch. Proactive discussions over the coming months will be the key to success as fresh opportunities will be prevalent once stability re-enters our market.

It's excellent to see that fellow Market Harborough headquartered Joules is promoting the recycling of their old wellington boots. Ultimately a simple but smart initiative that will reduce the level of highly durable plastics hitting landfill.

What are you seeing promoted via OEMs/retailers that is helping with a shift towards a circular economy?
