🚛 HGV Class 1 Driver 🚛

Overview 🌟
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team! 🤝 The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. 🛣️ The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of our logistics operations. This involves RDC and stores deliveries, making it nice and easy work! 📦✅

✨ Immediate start and very easy work! ✨

Shift Patterns ⏰
- AM starts: Between 02:00 and 07:00 AM 🌅
- PM starts: Between 15:00 and 19:00 PM (set once started) 🌆
- Overtime rate: x1.5 after 52.5 hours 💰

Duties 📋
- RDC and stores deliveries 🚛🏪
- Conduct pre-journey checks to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition 🔍
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring securement for transit 🏗️
- Deliver goods to specified destinations within scheduled timeframes 🕒
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs 📝
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies during journeys 🚦
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedules or issues 📞
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and reporting of any faults or damages 🛠️

Requirements ✅
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with at least 12 months of driving experience 💳
- Valid Tacho and CPC 🪪
- Maximum of 6 points 📑
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery responsibilities 🚚
- Knowledge of side curtain and box trailer operation and securing loads is desirable 📦
- Excellent driving skills 🔝
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently ⏱️
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail 🧐
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or late evenings 🌙

We are hiring! Our market‑leading client is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Operator to join their busy distribution centre in South Normanton. This is an excellent long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity with immediate starts available! 🚀

🛠️ The Role

You’ll be supporting a fast‑paced warehouse operation using a variety of MHE, including:
🔹 Reach
🔹 VNA
🔹 Combi Trucks

Don't worry if your licence has recently expired—refreshers and conversions can be done on-site! You'll receive comprehensive, multi‑truck training over several weeks to broaden your skills. 🎓✅

📋 What We’re Looking For

🔹 Minimum 2 years’ experience operating MHE 🚜
🔹 Comfortable working safely at height 🪜
