🕕 Monday to Friday, two-shift rotation (06:00–14:00 / 10:00–18:00)

Inplace Personnel Services Ltd is recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality operations within a busy manufacturing environment.

The role:
✅ Quality monitoring (SPC, KPI and performance data)
✅ Internal audits and detailed audit reports
✅ NCR, CAPA and 8D investigations
✅ NPI, QMS improvement and continuous improvement
✅ ISIR reports, engineering drawings, CMM and Shadowgraph

What you'll need:
🔹 Previous Quality Engineer or similar quality-focused experience
🔹 Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing
🔹 Understanding of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, 8D and 5S
🔹 Proficient in Microsoft Office
🔹 Manufacturing experience advantageous
🔹 IOSH Managing Safely and ISO 13485 desirable

🚛 We're Hiring: HGV Mechanic – Ilkeston 🔧

Inplace Personnel Services Ltd is recruiting for our client, a local authority, to appoint an experienced HGV Mechanic to maintain the municipal fleet at the council depot on Merlin Way, Ilkeston.

💷 Pay: £20.00 per hour
🕒 Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
📍 Location: Merlin Way, Ilkeston, Derbyshire (in person)

The role:
✅ MOT preparation, servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs, including refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers and light to medium commercial vehicles
✅ Diagnosing defects in the workshop and completing repairs in a timely manner
✅ Attending breakdowns and rectifying defects at roadside where possible
✅ Occasional work on agricultural vehicles, plant and equipment, including mowers (full training provided)

What you'll need:
🔹 Proven experience in HGV maintenance and repair
🔹 A clean driving licence is desirable for road testing vehicles
🔹 Ability to reliably commute to Ilkeston, or plan to relocate before starting
🔹 Availability for an immediate start

🌟 It is likely the successful candidate will go permanent with the local authority after a successful temp period.
