The Best Connection Mansfield are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join a busy and hardworking team in the Sutton-in-Ashfield area!

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, physically fit, and motivated individuals looking to represent the local council and enjoy an active, outdoors role.

⚠️ Please note: This is a highly physical job, involving plenty of walking and working in all weather conditions – including cold and wet mornings!

⏰ Working Hours
06:00 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday (3 day weekend!!!)

💷 Pay
£13.26 per hour

🛠️ Duties Include
Wheeling bins to collection points and loading onto the lorry
Operating bin lifting machinery
Returning bins and occasionally delivering new ones
Heavy lifting and manual handling
Supporting bulky waste collections when required
Assisting with council clean-up/tidy schemes
Working alongside the public and using reverse assist training (provided at induction)

To be considered, you will need to attend a brief interview at our Mansfield branch and complete council-specific paperwork prior to induction.

Looking for a hands-on role where you can get stuck in and learn new skills? This could be for you 👀

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
✅ Casting concrete products (including railway components 🚆)
✅ Setting up moulds and casting beds
✅ General manual work in a busy factory
✅ Supporting production and keeping things running smoothly
✅ Working safely in a team environment

💪 We’re looking for:
✔️ Experience in construction / manufacturing / groundworks (ideal but not essential!)
✔️ Someone who isn’t afraid of physical work
✔️ Reliable, hardworking team players
✔️ Basic knowledge of tools & materials

⏰ Shift Pattern:
🕕 Early finishes on a Friday!
Monday & Tuesday: 06:00–16:30

👉 Fancy more than just sitting on a truck all day?
This role is a mix of FLT + hands-on warehouse work, so no two days are the same!

🔥 What you’ll be doing:
✅ Operating a Counterbalance FLT
✅ Moving stock around site
✅ Getting stuck in with production duties
✅ Using hand & power tools
✅ Working in a buzzing, team-driven environment

⏰ Shift Pattern:
🕕 Early starts = early finishes!

Do you have experience working in a Returns Department? Looking for a new opportunity in a modern warehouse?

The Best Connection Mansfield are recruiting Returns Operatives to join our team at Schoolblazer!

🔧 Role Responsibilities:
Working across various areas of the Returns Department
Re-processing items using a computer-based WMS system
Steaming garments, unpicking labels & repackaging items
Putting stock away back into the picking department
Ensuring all returns are handled accurately and efficiently

⏰ Working Hours:
08:00 – 16:30
Working on a rota: any 5 days out of 7

💷 Pay Rates:
£10.85 p/h (ages 18–20)
£12.71 p/h (ages 21+)
⏱️ Overtime paid at time + 1/3 after 40 hours

The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness at our clients premises in the Ollerton area. The successful candidate will ensure the working environment is safe, clean, and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, corridors, and communal areas
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Dusting and wiping desks, furniture, and surfaces
Cleaning kitchen areas, including sinks, worktops, and appliances
Cleaning washrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors) and replenishing supplies
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Restocking cleaning products and reporting low stock
Following health & safety and hygiene standards at all times
Requirements
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable and punctual
Basic understanding of health and safety practices

Working Hours & Pay
Monday- Friday 4PM-7PM
