Job Title- Experiential CAD Designer

Company Name- Bailey Creative Studio

Location - Remote

We're a creative studio that offers experiential work. We're looking for someone to turn our experiential concepts (created and modelled in Cinema 4D) into production ready CAD drawings.

Software used- Cinema 4D / AutoCAD

Length of contract / duration- N/A

Hourly rate or day rate- looking to receive quotes.

We're a Creative Studio that offers experiential space design and we're looking for a CAD Designer to help us with some upcoming projects. We create the concepts in Cinema 4D, but we're looking for someone to take the final renders/project file and turn them into a production ready AutoCAD file.

CAD Technician Contractor (Temporary) - Fabrication and engineering drawings

WJ Sunstone are an established technology, engineering, and manufacturing company based in Kent, and they need a skilled CAD Technician Contractor to assist on a short / medium term project. They are looking to contract an experienced CAD Technician to assist in producing sheet metal fabrication, assembly and schematic drawings.

Core Requirements:
Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Fusion.
Strong background in generating precise fabrication & production drawings.
Strong background in document control.
Proven experience working within a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment on similar projects.
Position is remote with visits to our office in Whitstable in Kent for coordination meetings with our technical department.
Please note that this position is only available to UK residents, who already have the right to work in the UK.

Freelance Timber Frame Designer
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Timber Frame Designer to provide us with freelance work for our timber frame buildings.
The primarily role will be providing floor, wall, and roof production plans with cutting lists for out 2 ranges of timber frame buildings. Applicants to have strong knowledge of AutoCAD for technical drafting.

We've started going through the early responses to the 2025 CAD Employment Survey, and salaries for Intermediate CAD Designers are showing some interesting changes already.

The average has gone up from £34,256 last year to £36,824 this year. That’s just over a 7% increase.

Some regions are seeing bigger jumps than others. The Midlands is up 13% and the North East is up 16%. The North West, though, has dipped slightly, with salaries dropping from £33,110 to £32,129.

These are just early numbers and will likely shift a little as more responses come in. Once the survey closes, I’ll be publishing a full breakdown by region, job level and software used.
