The Best Connection Group – Manchester is currently recruiting 3 x Class 1 (Cat CE) Bulk Tipper Drivers for our client, a market leader based in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking job stability and a long-term role leading to permanent positions for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours

Guaranteed 45 hours per week
Monday to Friday: £16.30 per hour
Overtime (after 45 hours): £20.38 per hour
Saturday: £20.38 per hour
The Role

Driving a Class 1 (Cat CE) HGV bulk tipper vehicle
Delivering recycled materials across the UK
Regular nights out (tramping) in a sleeper cab (equipped with microwave & fridge)
Daily interaction with customers, maintaining excellent service standards
Flexible routes – no two days are the same


Ideal Candidate
Valid Cat CE (Class 1) licence
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous bulk tipper experience is advantageous (training provided if not)
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
For insurance requirements you need to be:
25 years or older with a minimum of 1 years experience on your Class 1 Licence

The Best Connection are looking for Aircraft Cleaners to carry out cleaning of aircraft between flights. The role is part time (25 Hours per week) and entails shift work based on flight schedules.

Hours Of Work:

Earliest Start Time: 04:30

Latest Finish Time: 00:30

Candidates must be flexible and able to attend all hours of work on a rota’d basis. Rotas will be issued well in advance of shifts.

Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off

Total Hours: 25 hours per week (5 x 5 Hour Shifts)

Rate of Pay: £12.34 Per Hour

Location: Manchester Airport (M90 1QX)

Key Responsibilities of an Aircraft Cleaner:

To carry out cleaning duties and related responsibilities to a high standard
To identify any suspicious items whilst performing cleaning duties
To adhere to cleaning protocol and procedures
To adhere to the health and safety regulations
Requirements for an Aircraft Cleaner:

Previous work experience as a cleaner an advantage
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Understanding Health and Safety regulations
Used to working as part of a team
Used to working to deadlines
Works well under pressure
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills
Due to the hours of working, all applicants must be over 18 years of age.
Carry out any reasonable tasks when requested
Desirable qualities for an Aircraft Cleaner:

1 Year Cleaning Experience
Full UK Driving License
Previous experience of primarily working within Customer Services ideally in a customer facing role

-Safe collection and delivery of containers
-Comfortable with containers and securing them down
-Collections and delivery each day
-Driving a HGV 1 ( Cat CE ) vehicle

Requirements:

-Valid Class 1 (CE) licence , Current Digi-tacho and CPC
-Must be 25 years or older (Insurance Requirements)
-Ideally a minimum 1 year container experience
-Hold a minimum 2 years of Class 1 (CE) commercial driving experience (insurance requirement)
-Maximum of 6 points on licence; no major endorsements (IN, DR, etc.)

The Role of the Job:

Ensuring Raw materials and packaging are available to ensure smooth running of production line
Following start up and shutdown instructions for the plant
Reporting of issues
Document control – data input and accurate reporting
Health and safety awareness for a food production area
Working as part of a team on a production line.
Quality checking the production process and the product.
Ensuring the correct PPE is worn for the Job Allocated
Working Rotating shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern
Requirements of the Individual:

Be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
Must have worked as a Machine operative in food production to be successful in this role
