Big news for employers: apprenticeship funding just got a major upgrade.

From August 2026, training costs for 16-24 year old apprentices are 100% funded by the government — no co-investment required.

And that's not all. You could also claim:
💷 Up to £2,000 – SME Hiring Incentive (new hires aged 16-24, from Oct 2026)
💷 £1,000 – Young Apprentice Grant (16-18s, or 19-24 care leavers/EHC)
💷 £3,000 – Youth Jobs Grant (18-24s on Universal Credit 6+ months)

That means free training and up to £6,000 in grants for the right hire.
