Many services are still working to understand how they would be assessed under the current CQC framework, especially where ratings were given under earlier inspection models.

A mock CQC inspection can help providers see their service through the same lens the CQC uses today. It assesses performance against the five key questions, reviews evidence and governance, and highlights potential gaps before an inspection takes place.

The aim is not to catch issues out, but to give leaders and teams clarity. What is working well, what needs attention, and what evidence is needed to demonstrate quality, safety and good leadership.
