Our first September CPD session focuses on safeguarding vulnerable children and adults. Designed for social workers and safeguarding professionals, it will cover key legislation, recognising different types of abuse, understanding the role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and knowing when and how to make referrals.

The webinar will be delivered by Angie Power, RGN, LLB (Hons), MSc. Angie brings more than 20 years of experience in training and consultancy, with specialist expertise in complex trauma, domestic abuse, FGM, harmful practices, and safeguarding vulnerable individuals. Her experience as an employment law consultant and foster carer further informs her practical, person-centred approach.
