Rockets Are Ballistic Missiles

"Rockets will NEVER be airplane-like operations. Never. Because they are ballistic missiles, for heaven's sake."

When Elon Musk says you have to reuse your vehicle, he's right. But Neal S. Lachman says Starship is still just an evolution of a ballistic missile.

The space plane is the revolution.

A space plane is an airplane in Earth's thick atmosphere. It does maneuvers, climbs to 100,000 feet, reaches Mach 5, and THEN ignites rocket engines. That's the difference between evolution and revolution.

This is why Titans Space Industries is building a multi-vehicle transportation system instead of a bigger rocket. Specialized vehicles for specialized regimes.
