Production Line Operatives – Immediate Starts (Headcorn, Maidstone)

Berry Recruitment is seeking hard‑working, reliable and organised Production Line Operatives to join our client based in Headcorn, on the outskirts of Maidstone. These are long‑term, ongoing roles with genuine opportunities for permanent contracts and internal progression.

What you’ll be doing
You will support various stages of the production and packing process, including:
• Boxing bottles on a conveyor belt and placing them into cases
• Stacking completed boxes onto pallets
• Sorting and checking fruit for quality
• Filling and sealing bags with product
• Manually loading machines with fruit, plastic bottles and other materials
• Cutting strips and de‑folding/collapsing cardboard bin covers
These tasks require good attention to detail, a steady work pace and the ability to work as part of a team.

Working hours
Monday to Friday
• 7am–3pm
• 3pm–11pm
Rotating weekly

Pay rates
• £12.21 per hour

We’re recruiting reliable Parcel Sorters for busy shifts in Aylesford.

▶️Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience preferred.

FLT Driver – Food Production (Headcorn)

Temp to Perm Opportunity | Immediate Start | £13.50 per hour

We’re recruiting FLT Driver to join growing food production site based in Headcorn.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for long‑term stability and a supportive team environment.

⭐ Shift Pattern
Rotating weekly:
week 1
• Monday–Friday, 7am-3pm
week 2
• Monday–Friday, 3pm-11pm

⭐ Pay Rate
• £13.50 per hour

🚚 Role Responsibilities
• Safely operate FLT and PPT equipment across the site.
• Complete pre‑start checks on all machinery and report any issues to the Shift Manager.
• Identify and help resolve non‑conforming raw material issues.
• Monitor stock rotation, ensuring short‑life or out‑of‑date stock is flagged promptly.
• Carry out pre‑start checks on Extraction machinery.
• Load fruit pallets into the tipper in line with blending requirements.
• Support the Extraction and Fruit Sorting teams to meet daily production targets.
• Assist with site improvement projects and new product development tasks.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across Warehouse, Extraction, and Sorting areas.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

🎓 What We’re Looking For
• Valid Counterbalance / PPT / FLT licence (Reach Truck licence desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a warehouse or factory environment is beneficial.
• Understanding of food or drink manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team.
