Happy birthday to us! Kamro turns 10 today.

It is hard to believe a decade has flown by. One idea in 2016 became 1,500 employers helped, 400 five-star reviews, and over £4 million saved for UK businesses.

What a brilliant ten years it has been.

And none of it would have happened without you. The employers who supported a fairer way to hire. The candidates who trusted us with the big moments. The team who made every day a day to remember.

Today we are raising a pint to all of you 🍺 Without you, all of this wouldn’t have been possible.

Thank you for being there every step of the way. Here's to many more years and memories together 💜

Recruitment does not need to look bigger than it is to be valuable.

Some agencies sell the size of the room. We would rather focus on the clarity of the process.

Kamro was built to give businesses practical, straightforward recruitment support without the confusing percentage fees that often come with traditional hiring. That means being honest about what we do, how we work and what a campaign is designed to achieve.

You do not always need a huge agency machine. You need people who understand the role, know how to reach candidates, screen properly and keep the process moving without adding unnecessary noise.

Recruitment is human work. It needs judgement, consistency and communication.

That is what we focus on.

Five-star reviews are rarely created by one big moment.

They are usually built in the smaller ones.
That is why reviews matter in recruitment.

They show whether people felt supported when the pressure was on. They show whether communication was clear. They show whether the experience matched the promise.

We have built our reputation by keeping recruitment straightforward, practical and human. Not by making the process feel bigger than it needs to be, but by making it easier to understand and easier to move through.

If you want candidates and hiring managers to feel supported from start to finish, We can help.

After 1,500 employers, the same lesson keeps coming back.
Hiring feels easier when the process is clear from the start.

Clear on what the role needs to deliver. Clear on the type of person who will succeed. Clear on salary, availability, culture fit and expectations. Clear on what happens next once the right candidate is found.

That clarity is why our approach is built around structured campaigns, proactive sourcing and proper screening, rather than simply waiting for applications to arrive.

A poor hiring process does not just waste time. It pulls managers away from the work they actually need to do.
Recruitment should give business owners confidence, not another problem to manage.

If you want a calmer, clearer way to hire, we can support your next campaign.

The hiring market is not frozen. It is cautious.

The latest KPMG and REC UK Report on Jobs shows permanent placements falling only marginally in March, while demand for staff fell at the softest pace since May 2025. At the same time, candidate availability rose at the fastest pace seen so far in 2026.

For employers, that creates a very specific kind of market.

There may be more candidates available, but budgets are tighter, decisions are slower, and the strongest people still need a reason to move.

This is where SMEs can do well if they hire with structure. A clear brief, transparent pay, a realistic timeline and a good candidate experience can make a role feel more credible in a cautious market.

The companies that win are not always the loudest. They are often the clearest.

The spring bank holiday often feels like the line between planning and summer.

For hiring managers, that line matters.

June can arrive quickly. Annual leave starts to shape diaries, interview availability becomes harder to coordinate, and roles that felt “not urgent yet” can suddenly become difficult to move.

That does not mean recruitment needs to be rushed.

It means the brief needs to be clear before the busy season begins. The more structure you put in place now, the easier it becomes to keep a hiring campaign moving when calendars start to stretch.

Enjoy the long weekend.

When you are ready to plan the next hire, Kamro can help you move from “we need someone soon” to a clear, active recruitment campaign.

Your job advert might not be broken. Your strategy might be too passive.

Many SMEs know the feeling. The advert is live, the applications are coming in slowly, and the strongest candidates do not seem to be noticing the role.

That does not always mean the role is unattractive.

It can mean the campaign is relying too heavily on one channel, one advert, or one version of the opportunity. In January 2026, 20% of UK businesses with 10 or more employees reported recruitment difficulties, and almost half of those businesses said a lack of qualified applicants was part of the problem.

Good recruitment needs more than visibility. It needs positioning, sourcing, screening and follow-up.

The right person may not be actively searching every day. They may need the role explained properly. They may need the salary, flexibility and expectations to be clear before they even consider a conversation.

If your advert is not attracting the candidates you expected, we can help you look at the full campaign.

21/05/2026

More candidates does not always mean an easier hire.

The UK labour market is shifting. Vacancies fell to 711,000 in January to March 2026, the lowest level since early 2021, and there are now 2.5 unemployed people per vacancy.

On paper, that can sound like good news for employers.

In reality, more available candidates still need careful screening. More applications can mean more time spent separating genuine fit from quick clicks, especially when the role, salary and expectations are not clear from the start.

That is where process matters.

A strong recruitment campaign defines the outcome to reach the right people, checking motivation and helping hiring managers focus on the candidates who can actually do the job.

More CVs are not the goal. Better shortlists are.
If you want hiring support that brings structure to the process, we can help.

Not every review tells a long story. Sometimes a straightforward process handled well speaks for itself. This is one of those.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"I highly recommend, very good contact and everything was handled professionally."

Brief as it is, a review like this reflects something important. When someone comes away from a recruitment experience feeling well looked after and confident enough to recommend without hesitation, the process has done exactly what it was supposed to do. No stress, no confusion, just a straightforward experience handled with care.

That is what professional recruitment should feel like for every candidate and every employer, every time.

Ready to experience recruitment done properly? We would be glad to help.

Posting a job advert is not the same as recruiting.

A hiring campaign starts before any advert goes live. It defines what the role actually requires, identifies where the right candidates are likely to be found, and sets up a clear screening process so strong people do not drop away through delays. The result is a shorter, better shortlist. Employers spend interview time with people who have already been assessed rather than working through a pile of applications themselves.

That is what Kamro is built around. A fixed fee, a dedicated talent partner, and a structured process from brief to hire.
