🍯🐻 100 YEARS OF WINNIE-THE-POOH! 🐝✨

Today, we celebrate 100 years of one of the most beloved bears in the world — Winnie-the-Pooh! 🎈
First published on 14 October 1926, Winnie-the-Pooh was written by A.A. Milne and beautifully illustrated by E.H. Shepard. The stories were inspired by Milne’s son, Christopher Robin, and his collection of cuddly toys, which brought the unforgettable characters of the Hundred Acre Wood to life. 🧸🌳
But did you know? Pooh’s name was inspired in part by a real bear called Winnie at London Zoo, who was named after Winnipeg, Canada. His friends, including Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Christopher Robin, soon became just as treasured as the bear himself. 🍯
From storybooks to generations of childhood memories, Winnie-the-Pooh has reminded us that friendship, kindness, imagination and the simplest moments in life are often the most precious.
A century later, his gentle wisdom still holds a special place in our hearts. 💛
