The Bank Workers Charity is a leading occupational benevolent organisation supporting people working or retired from the banking industry who are facing financial, health, housing or wellbeing challenges.

As the organisation continues through an exciting period of change, two senior roles have been created to strengthen its internal capability:

Reporting to the COO and managing two direct reports, this role will lead day to day operational finance, financial reporting and investment oversight. Working closely with the executive team, the postholder will also help identify and implement strategic efficiencies that support the charity’s long term sustainability. We’re looking for a qualified management accountant with senior level charity finance experience and a strong understanding of investment management.

Also reporting to the COO, this is a hands on, operational role managing the day to day HR function while shaping culture, engagement, EDI and staff wellbeing. Joining during a period of transformation – including bringing previously outsourced services in house – the role suits a CIPD qualified, generalist HR leader with experience supporting frontline, client facing teams.

A hands on, creative role delivering a varied and engaging programme of fundraising and cultivation events – from challenge events and a flagship golf day to comedy nights and industry dinners. You’ll work closely with corporate partners, volunteers and internal teams, supporting events from conception to evaluation and delivering exceptional supporter experiences throughout.

You’ll lead on supporter data, income processing, reporting and compliance, produce insightful analysis to support strategic decision making, and embed best practice across the fundraising function.
