📢 We’re pleased to be partnering with Bank Workers Charity on two important hires.

The Bank Workers Charity is a leading occupational benevolent organisation supporting people working or retired from the banking industry who are facing financial, health, housing or wellbeing challenges.

As the organisation continues through an exciting period of change, two senior roles have been created to strengthen its internal capability:

🔹 Senior Finance Manager - https://www.prospect-us.co.uk/job/193831-senior-finance-manager/
Reporting to the COO and managing two direct reports, this role will lead day to day operational finance, financial reporting and investment oversight. Working closely with the executive team, the postholder will also help identify and implement strategic efficiencies that support the charity’s long term sustainability. We’re looking for a qualified management accountant with senior level charity finance experience and a strong understanding of investment management.

🔹 People and Culture Manager - https://www.prospect-us.co.uk/job/193832-people-and-culture-manager/
Also reporting to the COO, this is a hands on, operational role managing the day to day HR function while shaping culture, engagement, EDI and staff wellbeing. Joining during a period of transformation – including bringing previously outsourced services in house – the role suits a CIPD qualified, generalist HR leader with experience supporting frontline, client facing teams.

Both roles offer the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring Bank Workers Charity can continue to provide life changing support to those who need it most.

✨ Could your skills to help bring joy, comfort and laughter to seriously ill children?

Spread a Smile is a national charity dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of children and young people in NHS hospitals and hospices across the UK. Through in person and virtual visits, performances and events, their incredible entertainers – from magicians and musicians to fairies, artists and therapy dogs – help reduce anxiety, create moments of happiness and support families during some of the most challenging times they will ever face.

As the charity continues to grow its reach and impact, Spread a Smile is recruiting for three key roles to join its passionate, values led team:

🔹 Fundraising & Events Officer: https://www.prospect-us.co.uk/job/193827-fundraising-and-events-officer/
A hands on, creative role delivering a varied and engaging programme of fundraising and cultivation events – from challenge events and a flagship golf day to comedy nights and industry dinners. You’ll work closely with corporate partners, volunteers and internal teams, supporting events from conception to evaluation and delivering exceptional supporter experiences throughout.

🔹 Fundraising Database Manager: https://www.prospect-us.co.uk/job/193829-fundraising-database-manager/
Reporting to the CEO, this role will take ownership of Spread a Smile’s CRM (Donorfy) and ensure the smooth operational delivery of fundraising activity. You’ll lead on supporter data, income processing, reporting and compliance, produce insightful analysis to support strategic decision making, and embed best practice across the fundraising function.

🔹 HR & Operations Manager: https://www.prospect-us.co.uk/job/193830-hr-and-operations-manager/
Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Operations, this role will ensure the charity’s internal operations run effectively and compliantly. Covering HR, governance, compliance, office management and organisational development, you’ll support staff and leadership alike while helping shape a positive, inclusive and high performing culture.

Each role offers the chance to play a vital part in an organisation that puts children’s wellbeing, compassion and collaboration at the heart of everything it does.

The right person doesn’t just fill a vacancy, they strengthen your mission, your team culture and the outcomes you deliver for communities. That’s why our approach is built on values first: listening carefully, communicating clearly, and being flexible to what you need at each stage.

For hiring managers, that means proactive updates you can trust, continuity when people are away, and thoughtful advice grounded in sector insight, not just process. It means a partner who respects your time and budget, who can adapt to changing priorities, and who keeps candidate care front and centre so your organisation’s reputation is enhanced throughout.

We’re proud of the way our team shows up for our clients and candidates alike: personable, responsive, and committed to getting it right in a way that reflects your values as well as ours. If you’re planning a hire and want a recruitment experience that feels genuinely collaborative and aligned to your mission, we’d love to support you.
