Resilience is about how you recharge and not how you endureβ¦
The below article provides an interesting perspective on resilience and how we achieve this.
The main take aways from this article are:
- If you do not give yourself time to recover properly, you are at risk of exhaustion, burn out, low mood and low productivity.
- The key to resilience is trying really hard, then stopping, recovering, and then trying again. Not to keep going when you feel stuck or overwhelmed.
- Rest and recovery are not the same thing. Stopping does not equal recovering.
- There are some good ways to recover mentally and physically suggested in this article.
