We are delighted to celebrate the wonderful work of Arastu Ravichandran.
At just 8 years old, Arastu continues to bring great joy to auditions and time on set. His bright disposition and eager enthusiasm make him a pleasure to work with, and these qualities are matched by his natural ability as a performer.
At such a young age, formal training is minimal, yet Arastu reminds us that true talent often reveals itself early.
Keep it up, Arastu – we love your work!

When you read a script, don’t just read it like a story.

Read it like a journal.

It tells you what happened.
It tells you where you were.
It tells you what was said.

But it almost never tells you why.

And that’s your job as an actor.

Your work begins where the script stops.

Why did your character say that?
Why did they stay silent?
Why did they walk away?
Why did they lie?

People don’t wake up thinking they’re the villain.
Even someone who commits something terrible believes — in their own mind — that it makes sense.

Your job isn’t to judge your character.
Your job is to understand them.
To justify them.
To completely rationalize everything they say and do.

And don’t analyze every character in the script.

Ask instead:
How does my character see them?
What does my character believe their motivation is?

Acting isn’t about playing good or bad.

It’s about playing truth — from the inside.

Read the journal.
Then do the work.

Enjoy the process. Go for it.

SELF-TESTS & TRAINING
We recognise the importance of self-test auditions.
We also understand the necessity of continuous training and refining performance.

All actors are strongly encouraged to seek every opportunity to practise and to invite constructive feedback.

Perfection is a myth.
Excellence is the objective.
Perseverance is the prerequisite.

GO FOR IT.

Luck came up in a conversation the other day — and it caused a bit of consternation.
Not everyone has the same level of luck.
So should we really be building our outcomes around it?
We have a strong belief: we make our own luck.
By putting ourselves out there.
By doing the work.
By training, preparing, learning, and being constructively critical of our own performance.
Talent comes first — something no one can control.
Skill comes next — something you must work for.
And when those two come together, luck might follow.
We hope it does.
Go for it.

Not getting a role isn’t rejection.
Casting rooms are full of talented, capable actors — often dozens who could do the job. There’s usually only one role to fill.
Directors and casting teams want you to be right. They’re rooting for it — because when you are, their job is done.
So don’t carry rejection that isn’t yours.
Go for it.
