One of my favourite quotes from my Pastor is " those who think will thank" - Matthew Ashimolowo
I could not let my birth month end without taking a moment out to thank God for being alive. The last 3 months have been very challenging; started with health issues, which then had an impact on my ability to work, my business and finances.
Initially I assumed I would bounce back within weeks, but it has taken months, still not yet operating at full capacity. A very stark reminder that indeed our health is our wealth. Our very existence is so fragile and we often forget it is by the grace of God that we have the very breath of life.
This picture is particularly special, as it was taken by my daughter Sarah on my birthday . The multi-colour dress is a reminder to me of Joseph's coats of many colours, just like him I have major dreams, no longer sure how or when they will become a reality but for now making a commitment to serve others with excellence in whatever space I am called to. I now also remind myself daily 'its not by my power or might but by Him who strengthens me'
Like to remind us all and myself particularly that whilst life is indeed a marathon not a sprint, we must still take a moment out to celebrate and be grateful for each milestone.
Thank you Lord for another year.
