For the second year running, members of our US team took part in the No Obstacles: Hope For The Warriors Race in New York on Friday, hosted by our fantastic client, Paine Schwartz Partners.

Hope For The Warriors does incredible work supporting service members, veterans and their families, and we're proud to support such an important cause alongside PSP, whose values closely align with our own.

A huge well done to Cassondra, Alyssa, Danielle and Grace for representing Joss on the day.

Happy 2nd Jossieversary, Karis 🎉

Two years ago, Karis joined Joss as a Community Manager in our US team, and we're very glad she made her way across the pond to join us in London last year.

Since then, she's embraced every opportunity that’s come her way, and this year has been especially exciting as Karis stepped into a Consultant role. Watching her confidence grow and seeing her go from strength to strength has been brilliant.

She's made a fantastic impact on our Front of House desk with Rosie, taking the time to build meaningful relationships, understand the community, and create opportunities through her ambition, drive, and commitment.

Karis is sunshine personified. Never without a smile or a funny story, she brings incredible energy wherever she goes. Whatever needs doing, Karis gets stuck in wholeheartedly. She works at a million miles an hour and somehow manages to bring positivity and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Congratulations to our temp of the month, Lisa!

Working with Lisa over the past year has been an absolute pleasure. From day one, she's hit the ground running, bringing a positive attitude, resilience, and a calm confidence to every assignment she takes on.

We've trusted Lisa with some particularly challenging temporary covers and she's taken every one in her stride, consistently impressing clients and earning fantastic feedback along the way. No matter the environment, she adapts quickly, gets stuck in, and makes a lasting impact.

We're delighted to share that Lauren has been promoted from Marketing Executive to Brand & Events Lead 🥳

Lauren joined Joss Search in October 2022 as a Candidate Manager for Europe, after making the significant career change from teaching to recruitment. It wasn't long before she was turning up with marketing ideas of her own, and when we were in a position to expand the marketing team in September 2023, she was the obvious person to join it.

Since then she's become the person behind how Joss looks and sounds. She's always cheerful and enthusiastic, meticulous when it comes to detail, and insanely organised - and she's usually the first to raise her hand when anyone needs help.

In her new role, Lauren will take ownership of our growing events programme, alongside continuing to build the Joss brand. As private equity and alternative investment specialists, we invest heavily in creating opportunities for our clients and candidates to connect with others in their sector, share ideas, and strengthen their networks.

She'll lead our events strategy end to end, continuing to grow and elevate everything from client roundtables to the networking events that bring our communities together across the UK, Europe, and the US.

Lauren embodies our values and is a joy to work with. We're excited to see her step into this next chapter.

Josh joined Joss in September 2019 as an Associate Consultant. Seven years later, he's a Principal Consultant with an incredible track record and a reputation for building lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.

Over the years, Josh has built an impressive portfolio of clients, earning the trust of some of the industry's leading firms. Through a combination of exceptional client service, hard work, and his naturally likeable manner, he's built relationships that continue to go from strength to strength.

Celebrating 3 years of Emma at Joss Search ✨

Three years ago, Emma joined us to support our growth in Germany. Since then, she's been a key part of Team Europe's expansion, helping grow our presence across multiple European markets and supporting the team's success every step of the way.

Anyone who knows Emma knows how much she cares. Whether it's her candidates, her team, or the wider business, she brings an incredible level of commitment, thoughtfulness, and support to everything she does.

This year has been a particularly big one. Alongside playing a key role in our expansion, Emma has done an amazing job developing and mentoring Georgia, always making time to share her knowledge, offer support, and build confidence.

Congratulations to Hope, who's celebrating four years at Joss Search and her promotion to Platform and Enablement Executive 🎉

Hope joined us in September 2022 as a Consultant, later moving into candidate management, and then stepping into operations exactly a year ago. Since then she's kept a million trackers updated, all of us compliant and the whole operation running smoothly, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of our tech stack that the rest of us are still catching up on.

In her new role, Hope will take on more ownership across our systems and processes, supporting the operational infrastructure that lets every Jossie do their best work as our Business Enablement team continues to grow.
