We're always eager to get involved in a charitable cause - even if it means being *slightly* covered in paint!

We recently headed over to .AndrewsYouthClub, our local charity partner, to help spruce up their offices and community spaces. Our La Fosse volunteers put their decorating skills to the test, giving back to this valuable cause and helping support our surrounding community.

With an amazing range of sport, creative, learning and well-being programme activities, St Andrews Youth Club gives local children aged 5-18 the chance to learn vital skills, stay active, and grow in confidence in a safe and fun environment.

This year's La Fosse Summer Party was a particularly special one as we celebrated our first anniversary as an employee-owned company!

Thankfully, the weather held out for a few games of rounders (we're not competitive at all 😏), lots of delicious food, and the chance to spend some well-deserved downtime with our colleagues, friends, and family members.

The last 12 months have been an exciting start to our employee-ownership journey; with 51% of La Fosse now owned by our employees, we've been working hard to establish our Employee Ambassador Panel, further embed impactful feedback loops, and continue to improve our communication across the business.

Thanks to everyone who made Friday's event such a fantastic celebration and we look froward to what the next year of employee ownership brings!

Our volunteer group is back from Malawi after an amazing trip to visit our partner charity, Friends of Mangochi Orphans Education.

Along with English and IT lessons, the La Fosse team has also been promoting the charity on local radio, planting trees, hosting sports day, and learning more about the vital work that this fantastic charity does to support hundreds of orphaned and disadvantaged children.

It's been a humbling and inspiring experience for our volunteers; connecting with the children and understanding what more we can do to support them will help us to focus our efforts even further.

This year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme of 'Moments of Movement' was fully embraced by the La Fosse team, as you can see!

We got together for lunchtime walks, yoga sessions, boxing, and spinning classes. Special thanks to Lovebrain who put on a fantastic workshop exploring the impact of memory and focus on mental health; a really insightful session that gave us some food for thought (and a new gratitude hack).

A big thank you to our Mental Health First Aiders for organising a packed schedule that offered something for everyone - and helped us all get moving to improve our mental health!

We heard from a fantastic panel of tech experts (Harris Mawardi, Rowena Humby, Qasim Saeed, and Faisa Mohamed) about their journeys into the industry and predictions for the future.
