Following recent expansion my client, a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Tonbridge, Kent is looking to add another 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join their friendly professional team.

This is an exciting time for an enthusiastic Service Desk Technician to join this growing team who is motivated to advance their technical skill and knowledge.

As the 1st Line IT Support Engineer, you should have at least 12 months experience of 1st Line line supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS Desktop (Windows 10), Switches, Routers, Firewalls (WatchGuard), DHCP, DNS, MS Office (2010/365), Antivirus, Printers & Active Directory

In this 1st Line IT Support Engineer role, you will have a real passion for IT and providing outstanding customer service. The role will act as the first point of contact for the service desk team, As part of their dedicated Services Desk, the 1st Line Support Engineer will work closely with the team supporting and helping clients succeed through technology.

1st Line IT Support / Service Desk Engineer
Sidcup, Kent
Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 DOE

Our client is an award-winning, privately owned IT MSP based in the Sidcup, Kent area.

They have an exciting opportunity for a motivated IT Support Technician to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a successful, well-established company offering continued training, support and development.

IT Support Role:

As a 1st Line Support / Service Desk Technician, you will provide first-line technical support to end-users.

Client issues will vary but will relate to hardware, software and peripherals. The role will involve providing desk-top remote support to clients. Therefore you will need build reputable relationships with clients, offering excellent levels of customer service.

IT Experience:

Similar experience in a 1st Line IT Support role, ideally within a similar MSP

Your technical skills should include knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Mac OS. Basic knowledge of user administration (Active Directory, AzureAD, Exchange, Office365). Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Good understanding of workstation builds and configuration.

Person specification

You must be able to work with a sense of urgency and be a Strong communicator with a clear and friendly telephone manner.

You should be able to multi-task and demonstrate a 'customer first’ approach

Package:

Basic Salary will depend on your previous experience but will be in the range of: £20,000 - £25,000 DOE

My client requires an experienced Trilingual (Russian, Hebrew & English) IT Service Desk Support Engineer for a user support role to provide IT support to staff in EMEA offices via telephone/remote software. The successful applicant will join a team supporting 30,000+ users in a predominantly Microsoft environment.

Your day to day duties will include being the first point of contact for IT support and be able to diagnose and resolve 1st and 2nd Line technical issues and escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.

Your technical skills should include exposure to Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, software & hardware installations plus Android & iOS Support.

Due to the current COVID situation, this will be a remote work from home position, however, you will be supporting an office in Tel Aviv.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a billion-dollar company who plan to make the position permanent.
