We are proud to have partnered with for the second year running to deliver the Discover, Believe, Become Careers Workshops. 🌱

These sessions supported over 90 young people from schools and colleges across London to build confidence, develop employability skills and explore future career possibilities.

🌟 ELSA supports thousands of young people each year through transformational programmes that build confidence, aspiration and real‑world skills.

The workshops took place at the Hays office over two days during London Careers Festival, contributing to the mission to open doors, spark ambition and ensure opportunities are accessible to every young person, including those from mainstream and SEND settings.

A huge thank you to our Hays volunteers and to our partners, including Mace and FinWell, whose involvement helped bring each workshop to life 🤝 Alongside ELSA, we love helping the next generation gain skills, self-belief and a clearer vision of what is possible.

Gen Z is rewriting the rules of career success... and wellbeing is at the heart of it.

According to our latest research, 76% of Gen Z professionals have left or considered leaving a role due to poor wellbeing support. As Hannah Pearsall, our head of wellbeing, says:

“Clearly this age group is not willing to sacrifice their own wellbeing for the sake of staying in a role.”

📊 EY’s global survey of 10,000 young people reveals a powerful shift in priorities: Gen Z ranks mental and physical health (51%) and strong family relationships (45%) as greater indicators of success than job titles or promotions (41%).

The message is clear, to some, wellbeing and connection matter more than climbing the corporate ladder!
