Boradbean Integration



JobMagpie has just integrated with Broadbean. Broadbean are one of the largest Multi-posting job platforms globally. They have many clients worldwide who post jobs to their system and it then re-posts them on other Job Boards such as ours. This means that we will have thousands of new jobs available for you to search.

A way to simultaneously post your job adverts

Multi Posting is a job advert distribution tool, allowing clients to write a single job advert and multi-post it to all of your selected channels, simultaneously. Clients can Multi-post their jobs to job boards, social media, niche and specialist websites. Their job posting software is integrated with more than 7000 channels.

If you don't have time to search for jobs.
What should you do?

Your best option is to set up Jobs by Email you will have jobs emailed directly to your inbox that match your specific search criteria.

The system is set to monitor your searches and send you any matches on a daily basis. It is there for important that you get your search filters correct to w**d out any irrelevant results.

There are lots of ways to get better results.

Increase the distance, the default radius is set to 10 Km you can increase up to 100Km.
Salary range, if you set a specific range try increasing it.
Posted within, try increasing the posted within date to a longer period.
Adjust the key words, try reducing the number of key words or think of alternatives that clients may have used for the same job role.
Location, make sure you select a location from the drop-down as not doing so will just search for exact matches.
Country, you may be in a country where we are not yet aggregating the job sites.

Louise Smith started First Choice Recruitment in 1999 with the help of a small loan from the Prince’s Trust and a desire to be different from other agencies in the sector. Louise wanted not just to provide a reliable service to the clients but she also wanted to take care of the workers.

The thinking is that if we take care of the workers they will try harder to represent First Choice with the client.


15 years on First Choice has built a strong reputation for being trustworthy and reliable. The original desire to be different has not changed and we care as much today as Louise did when she started the business.

Aggregator?


Some of you have been asking, “What is a job aggregator?”

Our site is designed to help you search for jobs by searching across multiple online job posting websites. Our technology searches many different sources:

• Job-boards
• Recruitment Sites
• Agencies
• Job Centres
• Governing Bodies
• Institutes
• Associations
• Trade associations
• Regulatory bodies
• Societies
• Professional organisations
• Multiposting sites

Some site we have a web crawler that goes off and looks for jobs, some we have direct feeds, other we have partner agreements. When we get a job we also post process it to make sure that it’s the same as all our others.



What this means is that when you do a search you are searching our database directly, it is not a search that goes from our site to other sites and pulls the results back. This makes it much faster, but more importantly, the results are ranked correctly so you get better hits.

This also allows you to search in just one place rather than having to login and search lots of different sites, and even set up email alerts across all our aggregated sites, you can then easily compare the job market in one easy go.

Radius search

Did you know that we have one of the best radius search systems around. It works by using full Latitude and Longitude to pinpoint your search location and that of the jobs within your selected radius, it even takes into account the curvature of the earth to be accurate.

We are also working on getting the system to be able to give you the travel time and distance from your location to that of each job. Watch this space.

WOW! we just hit 5,000,000 active jobs. just wanted to say a huge thank you to our technical guys for all their recent efforts to add integration to the system.
