Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per year net equivalent, plus live-in accommodation and all bills included

About the Role
We are a warm, private family living in the countryside, looking for a dedicated, trustworthy, long-term live-in housekeeper to become a valued and stable part of our household.
This is not a short-term or transitional role. We are specifically looking for someone who wants security, continuity, and a long-term home, and who takes pride in running a household as if it were their own.
Key Responsibilities
• Full housekeeping and care of the home to a high standard
• Cooking daily meals and planning menus thoughtfully
• Managing pantry, food shopping, and household supplies with minimal waste
• Overseeing a daytime live-out housekeeper and coordinating daily tasks
• Occasional childcare support for two children (ages 9 and 13), including rare overnight care when we are out
• School runs when required
• Care of family pets (one dog and one cat), including walks and feeding
• General household organisation and light budgeting related to food and supplies
What We’re Looking For
• Exceptional reliability, honesty, and loyalty
• Someone who genuinely enjoys caring for a home and supporting a family
• Calm, patient, and organised personality
• Strong cooking and household management skills
• Loves children and animals
• Comfortable living in a rural setting
• Ideally a driver (helpful but not essential)
• Happy to commit long-term and build stability with one family
