Join a fast growth vendor in the Tax Technology sector offering reporting solutions to mid-size and large UK Corporates. This client provides a suite of reporting tools to help Corporate Tax and Finance Directors ensure compliance in Making Tax Digital (MTD). Due to recent investment they are looking to hire 2 BDM's to their existing UK sales team.
Utilising an outsourced retained lead generation agency and internal SDR's the role will be provided with a majority of hot and warm leads to convert. Using the phone and face to face meetings to understand and discover the client's current reporting methods and pain points, you would then set a meeting to present a SaaS solution (accompanied by a presales or SME) that would provide significant ROI and ensure compliance. From there you would be closing and negotiating license and professional service contracts on a 3 - 5 year TCV that could be anywhere from £50K - £250K.
This is a hunter's dream role and would enable you to be focused on the commercial sales activities rather than being bogged down in lead generation activities, effectively enabling you to earn more as your time is customer facing rather than researching. There is a compelling event and HMRC will be fining any organisations that do not comply so this is a hot market currently placing you in a strong position to close business.
Ideally you have already had 3 - 5 years tenure in another SaaS business, experience selling into Tax and Finance is desirable but not essential. Your OTE earnings are proof of performance and this is the key essential.
On offer is an attractive basic salary and benefits package with on target earnings being 100% of basic salary and uncapped.
