Some opportunities are worth celebrating.

Today, our team arrives onsite for the build of BST Hyde Park 2026 — the first time The Nu Group has been appointed to support this iconic event.

Behind every major event is a huge team of people working tirelessly to bring it to life, and we're incredibly proud that our own teams will now be part of that journey.

Over the coming weeks we'll be supporting the event with litter, cleaning and waste management services throughout the build, event and breakdown phases.

For us, this isn't just another project. It's a reflection of how far we've come, the relationships we've built and the dedication of our teams who continue to deliver outstanding work across the UK events industry.

World Environment Day is a reminder that sustainability at events goes far beyond what people see on the surface. 🌍♻️

Visitors see the finished event.

What they don’t always see is the work happening behind the scenes to keep sites clean, safe, and environmentally responsible.

📍 Location: Laindon, Essex
💷 Pay: £13.00 per hour
⏰ Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week - Working hours to be agreed based on operational needs

Join Nu Group, a trusted cleaning, waste management, recycling, and events company with over 30 years of experience.

What you'll do:
✔ Prepare operational kits
✔ Load and unload vehicles
✔ Carry out deliveries and collections
✔ Support day-to-day operational logistics

What we're looking for:
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Access to your own vehicle for travel to our Laindon base
✅ Ability to lift and move equipment safely
✅ Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
✅ Comfortable driving vans up to 3.5 tonnes
✅1 Year of cleaning experience required

What we offer:

After an incredible weekend of live music and entertainment, our teams have remained onsite supporting the post-event waste management and clean-up operations to help return the site safely and efficiently.

As another successful RHS Chelsea Flower Show comes to a close, our crews have continued managing waste segregation, recycling, and site clearances throughout the breakdown phase of this iconic event.

From live music festivals to world-renowned exhibitions, effective waste management doesn’t stop when the event ends — and we’re proud to support every stage of the process.

Over the weekend, the Nu Group team were proud to once again support the Marsden March Charity Walk, providing litter picking and sweeper services throughout the event. 🚶‍♂️💙

This fantastic annual event continues to bring together thousands of supporters raising money for The Royal Marsden, and we’re pleased to have played a part in helping keep the route clean, safe, and well managed for participants and spectators alike.

2026 marks our 9th consecutive year supporting the Marsden March, and it’s always a privilege to be involved in such an inspiring community event year after year.
