WOW… what a weekend! 🙌

We’ve officially wrapped up another huge weekend for the Nu Group team, delivering across two major festivals simultaneously.

🎶 All Points East – completing our second live weekend, and our third year running supporting the event.

🎪 Reading Festival – our first year on site, and what an introduction it was!

Our teams worked endlessly throughout the day and overnight, keeping operations moving through some pretty relentless conditions – including immense rain! 🌧️

Despite the weather, long shifts and demands of two major live events, the commitment from everyone involved was incredible. From the teams out on the ground to the supervisors, managers and everyone working behind the scenes, it was a massive collective effort.

A huge thank you and well done to every single person who played a part. 👏

🚀 WE’RE HIRING – VENUE OPERATIONS MANAGER 🚀

Nu Group is looking for an experienced, proactive and customer-focused Venue Operations Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operations at To***co Dock, London.

📍 To***co Dock, London E1W 2SF
💼 Full-time, Permanent
💷 £38,000–£42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
📅 5 days out of 7, with flexibility around the venue’s event schedule

This is a key on-site management role with responsibility for our cleaning, facilities and associated operational services at one of London’s most recognised event venues.

You’ll lead and develop our on-site teams, plan resources around a busy events programme, manage subcontractors, oversee waste and facilities operations, maintain high service standards and build a strong day-to-day relationship with the To***co Dock client team.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, hands-on, commercially aware and confident taking ownership in a fast-moving operational environment.

Previous management experience within facilities management, cleaning, venues, hospitality, events or contract management would be ideal.

🏗️ We’re well into the build!

Our teams are currently busy behind the scenes at All Points East and Reading Festival, as we get ready for another two huge events in our summer calendar.

We go live at All Points East this Friday, followed by Reading Festival next Wednesday – so there’s plenty happening across both sites as everything starts to take shape.

The build phase is a huge part of what we do. Long before the gates open and the crowds arrive, Nu Group is already on the ground — clearing the site, establishing FOH and BOH waste management operations, and working behind the scenes to get everything show-ready.

A busy couple of weeks ahead for Nu Group – roll on show days! 💪♻️

📢 WE'RE HIRING | Operations Support Supervisor

We're looking for an Operations Support Supervisor (Warehouse, Logistics & Fleet) to join our growing team at Nu Group.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll take ownership of our warehouse, operational equipment and company fleet, helping keep our operations running smoothly across some of the UK's biggest festivals, sporting events and commercial contracts.

📍 Location: Laindon, Essex
💷 Salary: £35,000–£38,000 (depending on experience)
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7)

We're looking for someone with:

✔ A full UK manual driving licence
✔ Warehouse or logistics experience
✔ Practical maintenance skills
✔ Experience driving Luton vans (or similar)
✔ A proactive attitude and great organisational skills

That's a wrap on the live shows for American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2026. 🎉

What an incredible few weeks.

This year marked Nu Group's first time supporting one of the UK's most prestigious live music festivals, and we're immensely proud of what our team has delivered across the build and live show.

Across the festival, our teams worked day and night to provide cleaning and waste management services, helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Most importantly, we'd like to thank every member of Team Nu Group. Your hard work, professionalism and commitment have made this achievement possible.

Thank you also to our clients, suppliers and event partners for placing your trust in us.

The music may have stopped, but the work continues. As the festival moves into the breakdown phase, our teams remain on site delivering the same high standards through to the very end. Here's to finishing as strongly as we started.

What a weekend. 👏

This past weekend has been one of the busiest in The Nu Group's history, with over 500 staff deployed across multiple major events and venues simultaneously.

Our event teams were proud to support:

🌍 Plastic Free July starts today – but for our teams, the work happens all year round.

Over the weekend at BST Hyde Park, our team collected and carefully segregated thousands of plastic bottles, food containers and other recyclable materials, helping to give valuable resources the best opportunity to be recycled.

While Plastic Free July encourages us all to reduce our reliance on single-use plastics, it also highlights the importance of ensuring the plastic we do use is managed responsibly.

At Nu Group, sustainability is about more than collection. It's about working with our clients to maximise recycling, reduce waste and continually improve environmental performance across every event we support.

A huge thank you to every member of Nu Group for your hard work throughout the weekend. Your commitment behind the scenes plays a vital role in creating cleaner, greener events.

Today, our team arrives onsite for the build of BST Hyde Park 2026 — the first time The Nu Group has been appointed to support this iconic event.

Behind every major event is a huge team of people working tirelessly to bring it to life, and we're incredibly proud that our own teams will now be part of that journey.

Over the coming weeks we'll be supporting the event with litter, cleaning and waste management services throughout the build, event and breakdown phases.
