Although it was written for business owners, the feedback afterwards was that the book was written in such a way that anyone can access the contents and it was REALLY useful.
From Body Odour to self-harm, from domestic abuse to flexible working - this is a great read for anyone working anywhere.

Well that was a night to celebrate!
We won Gold for People Growth and Development in the Hertfordshire SME awards.

This award means a huge amount to us as it means we practice what we preach!
For DOHR, learning and development is built around one of our core values, Continual Improvement, and our belief that "Every Day is a School Day".

Rather than treating training as something that happens occasionally or simply to meet a compliance requirement, DOHR has created an environment where learning is part of everyday working life.

The moral of this story is know what you want the person to do, recruit the right person, give them the tools to do the job properly and then get out of their way and let them do it!

Hire for one job and then expect them to do a completely different one - well that's a recipe for disaster.
