Role: 3.5T Delivery Driver

Location: East London

Various start time available: 04:30am - 07:00am

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Shift patterns:

Monday - Friday
Optional weekends / overtime available

3.5T Delivery Driver duties and requirements:

Handle goods carefully, following any product-specific handling requirements.
Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle (manual handling will be required).
Deliver goods to customers, depots, or sites within set timeframes (Central London driving will be required).
Use a hand-held device, delivery app, or paperwork to record drops and collections.
Cleanliness of vehicle areas, ensuring high standards and any defects reported.

7.5T DRIVERS NEEDED – ONGOING & AD HOC WORK

Locations: Dagenham, Bermondsey, Rainham, Barking, Canning Town, Canary Wharf

Start Time: Between 06:00 – 09:00

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting 7.5T Drivers for ongoing roles, ad hoc shifts, weekend work and a variety of delivery assignments. Opportunities include electrical distribution, food and drink deliveries, kitchens, insulation, waste deliveries, and passenger assist routes.

7.5T Driver Benefits:

5 shifts per week

Overtime available

Flexible start times

Weekly pay

Ongoing and ad hoc work available

7.5T Driver Duties:

Completing 12–15 drops, including multi-drop deliveries across London, Essex and occasional long-distance routes

Liaising with the transport department regarding any issues

Loading the vehicle in route order

Communicating with warehouse staff to manoeuvre cages and assist with unloading

Requirements of a 7.5T Driver:

Newly qualified 7.5T drivers considered, but must have previous driving experience

Maximum 6 points on licence

Own car preferred

Valid UK Driving Licence, CPC & Tacho Card

HGV Class 2 Driver – Commercial Waste Collections (12T Box Lorry)

Location: Canning Town

Pay: £18.00 per hour Hours: 40–45 hours per week

Start Time: 05:00am Breaks: 1 hour unpaid

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to carry out commercial waste collections across Central London.

The Role:
Driving a 12T box lorry
Collecting food waste bins, glass bins, and bales of cardboard
Operating from loading bays across Central London
Ensuring safe and efficient collections in busy environments

Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Experience in commercial waste collections preferred
Physically fit and able to carry out a hands-on role
Reliable and able to work early starts

What’s on Offer:
£18.00 per hour
Consistent full-time hours
Ongoing work

Role: Class 2 Drivers

Location: Dagenham

Hours: Start time 4:00am or 11:00am

Pay: £16.89ph

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join one of our ongoing clients in Dagenham.

Once you go permanent after 12 weeks you will be on £41,184pa + £3000 annual bonus.

Class 2 Drivers Benefits:

Guaranteed 5 shifts per week.
Overtime available x1.5 & x2.
Temp to Perm opportunity.
Weekly pay.
8-10hour shifts (Guaranteed 9.6 hours paid daily and 48 hours per week).
3 shift patterns (Monday to Friday/ Tuesday to Saturday/ Wednesday to Sunday).

Class 2 Drivers Duties:

Will be driving 12T box lorry / Tipper collecting food waste & swapping full bins to empties.
Physical role will need to load, as no driver’s mate.
Will include central London routes but can go all over the UK.
Liaising with transport department if there are any issues.
