✨ Want to stand out to families and get placed faster? Here's how! ✨
We absolutely love helping nannies find their perfect family match — and a detailed, well-written CV is one of the best things you can do to get noticed quickly! 🌟
When you fill in your employment history on your CV, we need the following:
📅 Month AND year dates (e.g. March 2019 – June 2021)
👶 The ages of the children you cared for at the time
💛 A little about your day-to-day duties and responsibilities
(If you have had short jobs, include the reason for leaving.)
Here's a great example of what we love to see:
✅ March 2019 – June 2021 | Private Nanny
Sole charge of two children – a baby aged 4 months and a toddler aged 2. Responsibilities included all childcare routines, school runs, meal preparation and activity planning.
Reason for leaving: Children started School
Unfortunately we're unable to accept entries like:
❌ 2019 – 2021 | Nanny | Caring for children aged 0–12
Entries like this don't give families or agencies enough to go on and we are unable to verify your work history - If we can't verify your history, we can't represent you.
⏰ Please be prepared before you submit!
Tracking down dates and rewriting a CV takes time — for you AND for us — and it can slow down getting your profile in front of families.
Before you hit submit, make sure your CV already has all the details on it. Have your employment dates, and children's ages ready to go!
🤖 Using AI to write your CV? Amazing tool — but PLEASE check it afterwards!
AI can sometimes generalise or leave out the specific details that matter most in a nanny CV. Always read it back and make sure your real experience, actual dates and the children's ages are all in there. A polished, accurate CV will always get you further than a generic one!
If you'd like a hand updating your profile or have any questions, just drop us a message — we're always here to help you put your best foot forward! 🙌
