So space themed. Now I have been wanting to do this for ages. Obviously I keep mo,Davies, Libyan desert glass and Indonesian tektite in the studio for inlay work but I couldn’t help myself. I have actual small chunks of meteorite from the campo del cielo meteorite coming in, myself and Heidi are going to create copper cages for them, I larger tektites and impactite on the way as well. Impactite is the stone created the moment the meteorite hits out beauty earth (this one from France), tektites is the fusion glass created on impact. I am also currently also looking at meteorite iron shavings so you beautiful folks can have some put into inlay. Im so excited! If this works out we will very much get larger chunks of meteorite on on request. Lastly I’m currently looking at Michigan copper nuggets, Michigan fire brick, fossilised whale bond and Darwin tektite glass. I do love myself the odd and unusual materials. So I will be running a sale end of the week so I can get them and afford a long weekend I’m Amsterdam in a few months. So if you after space related stuff, keep your eyes pealed over the next couple of weeks.
