We were recently gifted this copy of Vogue from 1939. Stunning looks. Iconic fashion history here from a longstanding client with endless style.

Our session manicurists regularly shoot for Vogue, working alongside our hand models to bring that same timeless, flawless ex*****on to modern-day briefs. Cover illustrated by the German impressionist painter Suzanne Eisendieck.

Hand, commercial and specialist body parts model. Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, ecommerce. βœŒοΈπŸ¦ΆπŸ‘„πŸ‘οΈ

Selected reels for the launcy of Liberty Maze hand cream. A tactile brief - raw clay product unboxing, satisfying drawer shuffling, product reveal and application - with plenty of stone textures, paint-stained linen, deep terracotta tones. A veritable treat for ones eyes.

Commercial model, hand model and lip specialist. πŸ’…πŸ’‹

Beauty, cosmetics, editorial, lifestyle. Nine looks - reds, oranges, raspberry, clean skin - close-up beauty framing throughout.

Did you know Alexsandrah has an AI avatar version of herself? She appeared on the cover of the Great British Brands 2024 publication alongside Shudu, the world's first fully digital supermodel.

However, we can confirm that she's even lovelier in person!

and - who are both represented by HHM - got married recently, and they've kindly let us share a few photographs from the day. πŸŽ©πŸ‘°πŸ’πŸΎπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

We represent the two of them as a real couple, which makes this one of the nicer announcements we get to post. The ease you can see in these photos is the same thing that makes them work in front of a camera - though today that's beside the point.

To Jonathan and Miracle, from everyone at HHM: congratulations. We're so happy for you both. β™₯️

Promoting diversity isn't new for us - we've been at it since the 1990s, and we kept the proof.

As Hired Hands grew from its hand-modelling roots, the founders built specialist commercial divisions for the people the industry overlooked:

- Origin Models, for under-represented groups within advertising.

- Role Models, for everyday real authentic faces.

The vintage pages here are from those original catalogues.

For disclosure, we appreciate that the terminology used for Origin back then was 'of its time,' and isn't language we'd choose today. But the intention was there, and it mattered.

Today it's all one roster, cast on who's right for the brief.

New digitals in from Adam S - a commercial, hand, e-commerce and sports model on the HHM roster.

Straight polaroids, no retouching: relaxed commercial looks in a cream overshirt and white tee, alongside a set of athletic shots from the same afternoon.

Natural light, plain backdrop, nothing styled out - which is the point of a good digital. It shows what a model actually looks like before hair, wardrobe and grooming get involved.
