A big happy SIX year work-iversary to Charlie, Matt and Tom! 👏

These three have been here from the very beginning, starting out alongside Jack and Ben back in 2020. Six years really has flown by.

Since then, they've made a huge impact on the business.

Charlie is now leading our brand-new Essex division, Matt continues to lead from the desk across South & South-West London, and Tom is currently working on something new for R&R... 👀 more to come on that very soon.

Their success over the last six years has been a huge part of where we are today, and we're very proud to have all three as part of our SLT.

Happy 6 years guys - here's to many more 🥳

Ribbons & Reeves are coming to Essex! 🎉

We’re delighted to announce that from September 2026, Ribbons & Reeves Essex will officially be live.

After years of building fantastic partnerships and supporting schools across London, we’re incredibly excited to be expanding into Essex and bringing the same level of service, expertise, and commitment to schools across the county.

Our Essex team will be headed up by Charlie Demmel, working alongside Antonia Saunders and Lauren Cook-Abbott.

A-Level Results Day 🎓

A big well done to everyone receiving their results today.

After months of hard work, revision and preparation, today is chance to celebrate what you've achieved and take a well-earned moment to reflect on everything that's got you here.

For some, the next step will be University. For others, it could be an apprenticeship, starting a first job, travelling, taking some time out or simply figuring out what you want to do next.

There's no right way to take the next step, so whatever you're doing next, we wish you the very best of luck.

A great morning at Greenwich Park for our annual R&R Sports Day ☀️

We kept things traditional with the egg and spoon, sack race, three-legged race and relay, before finishing with a big game of rounders.

Safe to say the competitive side came out in everyone, with Team Orange taking the win. Well done to Charlie, Lauren, Alex, Ryane and Tyler 🏆

We finished the day with a trip to the pub and made the most of a very warm day together.

And that's a wrap on the 2025/26 academic year.

As schools close their doors for the summer, we'd like to wish all of our partner schools, teachers, support staff and graduates a well-deserved break.

It's been another busy year of helping schools build outstanding teams, supporting teachers with the next step in their careers, and launching graduates into education.

While the classrooms are quiet over the summer, we'll still be here speaking with candidates who are planning ahead for September and beyond.

Enjoy the break, recharge, and we'll see you in September. ☀️

It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything we've achieved over the past academic year and recognise some outstanding individual performances.

We've still got one final push before we wrap up the academic year, with our consultants continuing to work hard supporting schools and candidates ahead of September. The Government has confirmed a 3.5% pay award for Teachers for the 2026/27 academic year, with a further 3% increase currently proposed for 2027/28.

The Government will fund 2.5% of this year's increase, with schools expected to cover the remaining 1% from their own budgets.

Here's how the new classroom Teacher pay scales compare for London:

Outer London
• M1: £37,870 → £39,196
• M6: £50,474 → £52,241

Inner London
• M1: £40,317 → £41,729
• M6: £52,300 → £54,131

For those starting their teaching career in Inner London, the starting salary is now £41,729, with experienced classroom teachers on the top of the Main Pay Range earning £54,131.
