Graham has been appointed by Gamuda Land UK to deliver £45m purpose built student accommodation development at 14 Marshgate Lane, Stratford, London.

The project will provide 321 student bedspaces, alongside shared social spaces, a gym, games rooms, and 294 sqm of commercial space for workspaces.

Beyond accommodation the development will also include infrastructure improvements, with enhanced pedestrian and cycle access to strengthen connections in the Stratford area.

AWS has announced its new Well-Architected Agent, an AI-powered service designed to help businesses optimise their cloud infrastructure.

The service analyses infrastructure configurations, resource utilisation and application architecture to identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, security, performance and resilience. It can also recommend fixes, including changes to infrastructure code.

This signals an interesting shift in how AI is being applied across the software development lifecycle, moving beyond code generation and into infrastructure analysis and optimisation.

For engineers working with complex cloud environments, this opens up possibilities for automated architecture reviews, more efficient troubleshooting and identifying potential issues earlier.
