Due to expansion, our client, a Global Industrial Manufacturer, based in the Greater London area is recruiting a Junior Sales and Order Processing Officer to assist the Operations Manager in the following key areas of the business:
• To manage the orders of customers, making sure that their queries are looked after in a timely manner and the goods are shipped in line with customers’ expectations.
• Inventory control, by promoting sales of slow moving products and monitoring pick-up process.
• To keep on top of the SOP duties.
General Duties
• S&OP for products:
o Daily processing of sales orders
o Tracing and release of Back Orders in our system
o Preparing and supplying the necessary documentation (P/L, Proforma invoices) to our customers
o Liaising with customers by phone and/or email answering enquiries in regards to sales orders, stock availability and Orders ETAs
o Liaising with the Warehouse staff to resolve delivery and stock issues
o Consult with Technical Team (Pre/After sales as appropriate)
o Release Stock and Control aged back orders on a daily basis to support inventory management
• Supply Chain/Planning
o Liaising with vendors to ensure proper replenishment of stock
o Demand planning for assigned category
o Create reports when requested
o Day to day monitoring of Production schedule
