Job in Private Family: Flexible start date, ideally by November
2022
Location: Clapham, London SW
Position: Permanent Residential Nanny- two
children, sole charge, early Friday finish
Salary: £29,000 to £35,000 gross per year
Nanny required to help care for a little boy (3.5 years) and little girl (19 months). The role will be sole charge, working 7.00am to 6.30pm (Monday – Thursday) and Fridays 9am to 1.00pm (50 hours per week). Accommodation will comprise a private bedroom and bathroom on the top floor to allow ease of access and privacy. A driver is preferred, to assist with nursery pickups and drop offs, and the family can provide access to a car. The family home is conveniently located in Clapham Old Town with a garden and parking space, about a five-minute walk from Clapham North and Stockwell tube station as well as Clapham High Street Overground. It is a very family friendly and safe part of London, with great local amenities and a fantastic local nanny network. If the candidate is open to keeping on top of the household laundry, cleaning and with food preparation that would be a huge positive.
The family are searching for a professional, nurturing, and caring nanny, with experience of looking after children of a similar age. Both children are happy and healthy, in a good routine, with the eldest at pre-school four mornings and one long day per week. He is a kind and content little boy, with a brilliant sense of humour and a real love of nature, music and imaginative play. He loves a variety of toys, in particular his tools which he loves to pretend to build dens with as well as his train set and magnetic blocks, though he is just as happy playing hide-and-seek. The youngest is a very loving and smiley toddler. She is inquisitive and engaging little girl who adores her big brother and wants to keep up with him wherever possible. Both children eat well and have good appetites with no allergies. They attend weekly swimming classes with their parents and the successful candidate would be able to attend any classes they might enjoy with the children. The role will include typical nursery duties, preparing healthy meals and organising age-appropriate activities.
