Hi everyone! I’m Aimee and I’ll be sharing my experience being an au pair with you all for the next 3 days!

I’m 22 and I’m from South Africa🇿🇦. I’ve been living in Indiana with my incredible host family since April 2025. I never thought I would move across the world at the age of 21 but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve grown, gained independence, I learned a lot about myself and I’m still learning more. I’ve made countless memories, met amazing people and made a life here.

I’m beyond excited to share a bit of my journey with all you over these few days and hopefully inspire people to become au pairs!
