The Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding Total Facilities Management Company providing a range of Building Services Maintenance Solutions including Hard and Soft services and have a number of prestigious contracts in both the government and commercial blue chip sector and they are currently recruiting for a General Manager in Dunstable in the South East.

The Role
The remit of the General Manager role includes:-
* Provide leadership and management to a team including a group of Contract / Facilities Managers, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded, and that additional business is developed within the contracts base
* Ensure opportunities are identified by the Contract/Facilities Managers for the strategic development of the contracts in order to deliver increased turnover and profitability, add additional services and projects and ensure that contracts are re-won on re-tender
* Ensure Facilities Managers are meeting their KPI\'s across the contracts e.g. ensuring optimum staffing structure operates across contracts, reduction of WIP, debt and costs, while ensuring contract growth

The Candidate
The General Manager skills and experience required for this role:-
* Experienced managing a team of Facilities Managers or Contract Managers who have responsibility for managing large contracts with both static and mobile engineers
* Relevant experience in business management particularly in the provision of services, commercially astute, experience in FM is essential
* Ambitious, confident and able to demonstrate a career with continuous personal development
* Analytical, innovative and constantly looking for ways to improve the business, while being an excellent motivator of staff and team player
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, committed to customer service, accessible to customers and has a high level of personal integrity
* Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver
* Capable of developing strategies to win against the competition
* Identify and deliver added value services
* Articulate the \"Value Proposition\" of our client\'s service to prospects and customers at board level

The Reward
In return, the General Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including £80k - £90k salary (depending upon experience) plus 25% bonus, car allowance, 25 days holiday, healthcare, company pension scheme and our client offers excellent career progression opportunities.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Energy Manager role:-
* Ensure the effective management of energy resources to meet our clients objectives and targets
* Identify, develop and implement new energy related opportunities
* Carry out all energy related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance
* Motivate and train people within the company and client organisations in energy management
* Promote energy efficiency and provide advice and support for the development of energy efficient practices
* Develop and implement with client, the overall strategy for energy requirements, to meet the strategic intent of the organisation and represent the Energy Department in all areas of the business
* Plan, monitor and achieve consumption / emission targets
* Understand Utility supply trading arrangements
* Liaise with The Energy Bureau to ensure energy management reports are issued to the Clients specification

The Candidate
The Energy Manager skills and experience required for this role:-
* Minimum 5 years experience in energy management
* Qualified Low Carbon Consultant
* Qualified to undertake Air Conditioning Inspections
* Appropriate energy related qualification or equivalent in building services engineering.(to Degree level or higher)
* Extensive knowledge of the principle techniques and technologies which support the efficient use of energy
* Understand the principles behind HVAC, refrigeration and Lighting operation and system design / integration
* Extensive working knowledge of BMS and control theory
* Ability to carry out full energy surveys and feasibility studies of energy technologies (eg CHP)
* Knowledge of customer operations, business drivers, financials and specialist sources of information, legislative requirements where necessary

The Reward
In return, this Energy Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including £40k - £45k salary plus a 10% bonus, car allowance, company pension scheme, 25 days holiday and additionally our client offers excellent career progression opportunities.
