That is not a title problem. It is a governance problem.

A Fortune 500 insurer brought its CIO, COO, CFO, and CHRO into the same room in January. Each had a credible claim to AI oversight. None had the mandate.

Jason and Lewis Maleh have known each other since school in Watford, long before Bentley Lewis existed or either of them worked in search.

While Lewis built the firm in London, Jason built his career on the ground across Asia-Pacific, living and working in Japan, Singapore and across the region.

His background spans Amazon, Meta and Expedia, operating at the intersection of strategy, sourcing and regional leadership. Not observing markets from the outside, but operating within them.

Sixteen years later, those two paths came together.

As Managing Partner for APAC, Jason leads our presence across Japan and the wider region. Bentley Lewis is also a member of the BCCJ - The British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, reflecting something more fundamental than expansion.
