Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Head of Service (HOS) for a 100m+Charter Motor yacht.

We are seeking a polished, dynamic and service-driven Head of Service to join a prestigious 100m+ yacht.

Requirements:
- All relevant certificates up to date and in hand
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Head of Service or senior service leadership role on 80m+ vessels
- Strong background on 100m+ yachts preferred
- Proven ability to lead, train, and support a large service team
- Exceptional service skills, including fine dining, wine knowledge, bar service, and guest-facing confidence
- Experience with high-level table styling, events, and service logistics
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Confident, adaptable, and positive leadership style
- Additional skills such as sommelier training, barista experience, or floral styling are beneficial

Start date: ASAP
Location: France
Salary: EUR 6000 (DOE)
Leave: 90 days annual leave (unstructured, subject to operational requirements)

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a superior Head Chef for a 50m motor yacht.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on board a prestigious and busy charter yacht.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Head Chef on similar sized charter yachts
- Culinary training and experience in high end restaurants or hotel preferred
- Ability to plan and deliver world class menus, including dining, themed experiences, fusion cuisine, breads and desserts
- Confident in sourcing premium ingredients
- Excellent time and kitchen management skills
- Strong communication skills & team player in all areas
- STCW, ENG1 & FHS Level 3
Schengen visa required & B1/B2 a bonus

Start date: 1 June

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Deckhand for a 70m+ private/ charter yacht.

We are seeking an experienced and active seasonal deckhand to join a great team on board a family orientated yacht. This is a seasonal ( 6 month) contract.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience on similar sized yachts
- All certs up to date - yacht rating preferred
- Confident tender driver
- Strong on deck with good product knowledge
- Charter experience
- Responsible and great with families & kids

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the exterior
- Duties include wash-downs, polishing, painting and general deck maintenance
- Assist with docking, anchoring, and tender operations
- Support water sports and guest activities
- Follow safety procedures and works closely with the Bosun and deck team to ensure smooth daily operations

Start date: ASAP
Location: Med
Salary: EUR 3500
Leave: 30 days
