Teaching Assistant – Kumon Hoxton Study Centre
📍 N1 | 🕒 Mon & Thur 3:35–7:15pm | Sat 1:15–4:15pm

You’ll:
✏️ Support kids aged 3–18
📄 Mark work + keep the classroom smooth
👣 Help young learners grow in confidence

💼 Want more hours? We’ve got a 15–18 hr/week plan with:

Outreach day (1-2 afternoon/ week)

Admin/social media day (2-3hr/ week, work from home)

We pay:
💰 £13.85/hr (before probation)
💰 £15/hr (after probation)
Outreach day Bonus per enrolment (£10–£35)

Our client is a UK-based market leader in frozen Asian food, supplying over 20 European countries. Recognised for quality and consistency, they operate from a major production site in DA18.

🔧 Role Responsibilities
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage purchasing contracts
• Forecast stock, track orders, and manage delivery logistics
• Ensure compliance with food safety and customs regulations
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams about delivery, quality, and product improvements
• Support ad hoc tasks as assigned

🔍 You’ll Need:
✔ Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar procurement or buying role
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office (SAP is a bonus)
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Extra languages are a plus

-Oversee classroom operations to ensure a productive learning environment
-Supervise and mentor junior assistants
-Report to the Center Instructor on student progress and classroom management
-Interact with parents, discuss student progress, and provide support as needed
-Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry
-Assist with customer service, including greeting parents and answering inquiries
Requirements
-Previous teaching experience (essential)
-Fluent in English
-Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive "can-do" attitude
-Eager to learn and support student development
-Positive and adaptable personality
-Former Kumon students will have an advantage
