𧥠⢠HTSI After a long restoration, Londonâs new Hermès store is ready to open. A compound of six listed buildings, the French luxury house signed for the space within 72 hours of being approached in 2009. âI see this whole project as a homage from a French house to British culture,â says artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas in Saturdayâs issue, ahead of next weekâs grand opening. â The sixth-generation heir of the Hermès family joins the companyâs CEO Axel Dumas, his cousin, to talk about their roles in shaping the brand. âThe difficulty is when you work at Hermès, you are there to serve,â says Axel. âServe the legacy, serve the future, serve the people who work.â Read more in this weekendâs magazine.â
